About Us

Lilly's Closet is the creation of Margaret Lilly, whose inspiration comes from growing up with six sisters - each with a very different sense of style. As a result, she developed not only an appreciation for individual expression through fashion but also a keen eye for what styles work best for different body types. She became the family fashion guru and was always ready to answer the call for help: to find the perfect ensemble for a special event; to coordinate what clothing and accessories to pack for a trip; and to edit the worn, the unfashionable, and the just plain unflattering from an overflowing closet.

Armed with a degree in Clothing and Textiles, Margaret outfitted clients in a variety of fashion retail establishments from coast to coast before discovering that her true passion lay in wardrobing. Her secret to style-success? Mixing and matching vintage pieces with current pieces and low price points with high price points for the ultimate wardrobe. She decided that it was time to wardrobe her own clients; and, while her sisters remain her most loyal supporters, Margaret Lilly would like to wardrobe you.
