Try not to get hung up on the price tag...
The price you pay for premium denim is substantially higher than your average pair of dungarees; but with the sticker shock comes better quality denim that has a much longer shelf life. As a rule, premium denim will soften with each wear, stretching out a bit in the beginning and then maintaining its shape for the long haul. Def worth the investment ... oh and the ladies dig 'em!

Best for the conservative dude: Good 'ol fashion Levi's 501 PREMIUM version. Medium rise, roomy in the thigh, straight leg. (available at Denim Bar in store only)
Best all around jean: Nudie Jeans Co. Average Joe. Inspired by the 501 but with a modern edge. Comes in a range of washes (including dark) and goes up to a 36" inseam
Best for athletic build: Calling all football stars, cyclists, wrestlers and Marines who need a little extra room in the thighs! Chip and Pepper's The Big Pickle. Comes in light and dark wash. P.S. Don't forget to launder with care. Wash your jeans as little as possible and when you do, wash them inside out in Woolite Darks on the cold setting. Lay flat to dry and "fluff" for five just before wear!
