It's Bauble Time!

Break out the bejeweled, the bedazzled and the fabulous furs because Holiday Parties are the perfect excuse to break out the extra special couture! It is, after all, the one time of year when "more is more," so grab it and go!

Sequins are always appropriate with jeans or a black pant. Bonus: it's tres chic!

A fur stole or jacket with fur trim is the perfect evening topper for your holiday get-up! Where to find such eye-catching duds? Check out vintage shops like The Remix on Capitol Hill.

Try the Tuxedo!

There's nothing more classy than a tuxedo inspired detail: think black satin down the side of a beautifully draped wool pant, a black wool blazer with a satin lapel or a delicate ruffle-front blouse!

Now choose one of the above and balance it out with something feminine. For instance: Wear the black tuxedo pant with something silky and sleeveless.

Another idea: Wear the blazer over an unexpected party frock like this black number found at The Remix!

Or sport the ruffle front blouse tucked into a playful skirt or worn out with a dark denim jean! Finish both looks with a reinvented cumberbun using a wide sash and 'Voila' you've created your own tuxedo!

'Winter White' Wonderland

Do you really want to make an entrance? Then opt for white instead of black.

Go for a classic white sheath or playful party
frock, embellished with gold accessories and topped with a jewel tone dress coat.

Don't want to flash all that skin? Try the tuxedo blazer, as the statement, paired with black head to toe!
